ThumbsUp Initiative is a Youth Leadership Development initiative focused on raising competent individuals, hence leaders for our ever-evolving world. Founded in Lagos Nigeria in September 2016 by GLORIA A. AJOGE-ADABA.

Registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 27th February 2018.

The THUMBS UP logo is a registered Trademark, duly registered on 8th August 2018 with the Commercial Law department of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Abuja. Thumbs Up has also been duly registered with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) on the 7th of August 2018.
In 2018, TUPI got her first grant from the Pollination project and our work was recorded in Huffington Post.

Officially Responsible for TUPI contents and Content Development; Handles Coverage and Recording, Documentations, Media, Multi-Media, Info-tech and Internet and any other media related based activities/exercises of TUPI.

Officially responsible for all business activities and exercises of TUPI and responsible for working with the R&D team in getting grants for TUPI

Takes and Keeps financial records of TUPI. Release and Regulates funds to various teams for TUPI activities

Responsible for all Formal and Informal Grooming/Training in line with TUPI

Training Unit Leader

Takes record of all minutes in central meetings

  • Collates reports from Unit Heads/Secretaries

  • Collates the report/record of financial activities, exercise and needs of Units

  • Makes financial provision for Units, Central Activities, Events and Programs.

  • Coordinates and assists the set up for TUPI activities

  • Coordinates the activities of TUPI; Meetings, Event, Units, Time, Contents and Floor Management (flow of Meeting).

  • Manges Quality Control of the Image and reputation of TUPI internally and publicly

  • Works closely with the Admin team to drive the decisions and plans of the central goal.
